guestroom — epilogue
the fine print
Not every decision needs a chapter.
Some things simply found their place along the way — a lamp moved here, a frame hung there, something useful left within reach. Small choices made less because the room needed more, and more because someone would eventually live in it for a while.
By the end, I wasn’t really decorating anymore. I was thinking about the person who might stay here. Where they would put a suitcase. Where they might get ready in the morning. What they might reach for without wanting to ask.
None of these things changed the room on their own. But together, they made it ready.
